Assessment & Treatment Services

Clinical services are designed to be proactive and responsive to the needs of the Army´s workforce and emphasize alcohol and other drug abuse deterrence, prevention, education, and rehabilitation.  There are two goals for clinical services:

  1. To restore to duty those substance-impaired Soldiers who have the potential for continued military Service.


  2. To work with Commanders and Soldiers on determining fitness for duty and transition support for continued treatment services in the VA or civilian community when a substance-related disorder impacts the ability to perform Soldier duties.

Services provided:

  • Medical evaluation

  • Prime for Life education

  • Weekly outpatient treatment services

  • Intensive Outpatient treatment services

  • Referral to detoxification or inpatient treatment as determined medically required

  • Commander consultation

  • Case management services for substance-abuse-related issues

  • Confidential Treatment (CONTREAT/CATEP)
